Terms of use
These terms cover the Holiday Dinner Planner website (holidaydinnerplanner.com) and the Holiday Dinner Planner iPhone app.
Using the website and app
They help you plan when to prepare and cook dishes so they are ready around the same time. You may use them for personal, non-commercial meal planning.
Cooking times are estimates
Every time, temperature and schedule is a planning estimate. Ovens, stoves, recipes, ingredient sizes and starting temperatures vary, so food may need more or less time than planned.
Food safety is your responsibility
The website and app don't determine whether food is cooked or safe to eat, and finishing a step or timer doesn't mean food is done. Always check doneness with a food thermometer, cook to safe minimum internal temperatures, and follow official food-safety guidance, such as the recommendations published by the USDA or your local food-safety authority. They are not a substitute for your own food-safety judgment.
Reminders
The app's notifications depend on your device settings, Focus modes, battery and other factors outside our control. Don't rely on them as the only way to track cooking that could cause harm if forgotten, such as food left in a hot oven or on a burner.
Purchases
Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase made through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms. You can restore it on your devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
Website content
Guides and figures on the website are provided for general information and may contain errors or become out of date. Links to other websites are provided for reference; we don't control their content.
No warranty
The website and app are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from their use, including spoiled food, illness or property damage.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page; continuing to use the website or app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
