Ham cooking time per pound
Most holiday hams are sold fully cooked: you're warming them, not cooking them. The planner uses about 15 minutes per pound, the rule of thumb for reheating a fully cooked ham at 325–350°F and the shorter end of USDA's range for a whole bone-in ham. Hams that aren't fully cooked take longer — check the label.

*Reheat a fully cooked ham packaged in a USDA-inspected plant to 140°F (60°C) and any other fully cooked ham to 165°F. Spiral-cut hams dry out easily: USDA suggests covering the whole ham in heavy foil and heating at 325°F for about 10 minutes per pound. They're also safe to eat cold.
What time to put the ham in
Work back from dinner: 15 minutes of rest, the heating time, and 15 minutes to preheat. A 10 lb ham for a 2:00 PM Easter lunch goes in at about 11:10 AM. Because scalloped and sweet potatoes bake at the same 350°F, they can share the oven with the ham — see the Easter dinner timeline or the ham dinner on the Christmas timeline.
